1. What This Service Does

trustbadge.dev provides an age verification system for VRChat worlds. When you use the "Verify Age" feature in a participating world, we check your VRChat account for VRChat's own account-level 18+ age verification badge and record the result so participating worlds can grant or restrict access accordingly.

2. Eligibility

You must have a valid VRChat account and, where applicable, have completed VRChat's own age verification process. This service does not perform age verification itself, it checks whether VRChat has already verified you.

3. What You're Agreeing To

By clicking "Verify Age" in a participating world, you consent to:

• Us looking up your VRChat account's verification status via the VRChat API
• Us storing your VRChat user ID, username, verification status, and the timestamp of verification
• That status being used to grant or deny access to restricted areas across any world using this system

4. Account Actions

We reserve the right to unverify or ban a VRChat account from this system at our discretion, including for abuse, attempted circumvention, or providing false information.

5. No Warranty

This service is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability; the system may enter maintenance mode at any time, during which verification checks will be unavailable.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
